Why a School Visit to the Farm

In a world of amazing opportunities, children have limitless chances to learn information and facts about things, but so few spaces to understand who they are.  We’ve prepared the farm experience for discovery and the important work of creating self, while having fun.

Our goal, at the end of a week on the farm, is for each student to move a step closer to becoming themselves, confident, caring, curious, compassionate young people. 

At the same time we strive to foster classroom community, building new friendships, breaking down barriers, discovering new skills, roles and possibilities.
